NTB members use credits called “trade dollars” instead of cash to transact with one another. If you purchase $1,000 worth of goods and services from another participant, you pay that member 1,000 trade dollars (T$1,000). That member can then buy a variety of goods and services from other NTB members. Hotel rooms, resorts, restaurants, advertising, printing and many other goods and services can be obtained with trade dollars.
